Although it tasted good, Birma was a big let down. The GF options were substantially more expensive but the portions were so much smaller than the standard portions. To make things worse, I found a gluten noodle hidden among the zucchini noodles.

I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and it was a SONNET. The crust was delicious, crispy, perfect for this New York City pizza snob. And it was topped with greens, olives, sriracha peppers and feta. The other GF pizza options look incredible and I plan to try them all. I didn't experience anything that would suggest cross contamination issues.

The waiter was very nice and gave us a good recommendation on wine. He was knowledgable on what had gluten in it and I will say the gluten free crust was one of the best gluten free crusts I’ve had. I think I ordered the wrong pizza though. I had the egg pancetta pizza and it had almost NO toppings. No sauce either. I am gluten free and dairy free but wrongly assumed there would be sauce and plenty of pancetta, onions, and egg. I would be willing to give it a second chance but definitely wish there would have been way more toppings and sauce on it.

Based on past reviews you might be wary, but my wife and I are both celiac and ate here last night. Staff was VERY accommodating even considering every table was full, and our waitress assured us that they take all precautions. We DID NOT get sick or have any signs/symptoms of cross. Tried pizza w the cauliflower crust (was delicious, seemed homemade) and they also offer an alternative “GF” crust made w almond flour (both are GF!) Definitely a little pricey, but for celiacs there is a different value in being able to eat out safely (at least for us!).

The staff had no idea how to accommodate a gluten allergy. Do not go here if you have Celiac.

Food was great! Cross contamination is a real risk though.

The staff were not very knowledge. While they have gf pizza crust the risk of cross contamination is very high. I got sick and I only had a salad and two vegetable sides.
