Birdette’s Ultra Crispy Fried Chicken

The GF fried chicken is amazing. But call first as they run out. We showed up once and they were out and called two other times and both times they had no more left for the day… at 12pm!

100% dedicated fryer. Only thing that isn't gf is the Mac and cheese and soups. Get your fried chicken on over here!

They are located inside a food hall in downtown Elgin. Their crispy fried chicken is gluten free and is fried in a dedicated fryer. They have several different options for fried chicken, I decided to get the half chicken which did not disappoint. Prices were reasonable, and I definitely will be coming back again.

While the whole menu isn’t gluten free, the mashed potatoes and Cole slaw were. The mashed potatoes were hands made and delicious., and the Cole claw was good as well.

The lack of fried chicken options in the Chicago area make this a must try. I highly recommend.
