Birmingham Sushi Cafe

They have a very big menu with GF items clearly marked. I've gotten bibimbop there a couple times and they have a gf sauce for it that they serve in a single serving container marked gf. Last time I went, I ordered a couple vegetarian sushi and it came with a gf soy sauce in a single serving container. They do charge extra for the gf sauces. I have loved everything I have had here and they seem conscientious about keeping things gf, changing gloves when preparing gf orders.

I was so nervous about getting sushi for my sushi-loving Celiac daughter, but this place put me at ease. Online menu is clearly marked with GF items but I also put a note about Celiac and called to confirm they read my note. They could not have been nicer! Added bonus - the sushi tastes great!

This is some of the best sushi I've ever had!!! The miso soup was incredible as well. The menu is very clear and there's tons of options. I ordered carry-out and they put a sticker on my gf soy sauce.

I ordered on DoorDash. I wrote that I had a gluten allergy and my food could not touch gluten. I felt safe due to the reviews. When I was eating my food, I found a seed in the sushi that did not belong there. I tested it with my Nima, and sure enough, gluten was found. I was sick for a week.

I ordered the Jalapeño Roll, American Roll and the cooked shrimp roll and was very pleased. The menu is clearly marked with GF options and they also offer GF soy sauce! New favorite sushi place!!

I got sick from this place. They put all the rolls, gf and not gf, on one plate.

Everything gluten free is marked GF on the menu & the menu is HUGE. My sushi was great. They have gluten free soy sauce if you ask for it, too. I had the plum cucumber sushi roll & the tuna avocado sushi roll and both were very good.

All gluten free sushi is marked. They offer tamari for extra $. Good sushi. Service is just okay.
