EXCELLENT food. Can get almost anything gluten free. I had one of the specials-a stuffed chicken with a spicy tomato cream sauce and quinoa on the side. Also had Nutella cheesecake for dessert! Everything was delicious.

Bistro 781 has an extensive gluten free menu that is clearly labeled, and the staff is also knowledgeable. I ordered fish and chips as they have a dedicated fryer and use gluten free batter. My only complaint is that I wish it was 2 pieces of fish for lunch, not just one. Overall great food near Brandeis!

This restaurant is amazing. The food is absolutely delicious. It's my go-to place, because the staff is knowledgeable and they take gluten allergies very seriously. They have a separate fryer.

Everything on the menu that is GF or can be made GF is marked and they have a big selection! The waitress was really knowledgeable and I felt safe eating there. Did not get sick after. Will be back!!

Their food is always really good. My husband has a wheat allergy and has never been sick from this place, but he can also handle minor cross contamination. We've both ordered extensively across their gluten free options and it's always delicious. The servers are thoughtful and not shy about asking the kitchen anything they don't know.

Most of the menu can be made gluten free or is naturally gluten free. Wait staff has been knowledgeable and I’ve never had an issue with the food. The first time I read the menu I was shocked at the number of options. I’ve honestly questioned if my burger was really on a gluten free bun. Moody St is great for gluten free and 781 is no exception. Large bar, good cocktails, owner is a great guy and they even cater to your vegan friends. Oh, and dedicated fryer, so you can actually have fries with that burger.

I was glutened very badly in this restaurant in June. Due to the severity of my reaction, I do not believe it was a cross contamination issue but rather, a mix up in the kitchen and being served an item containing gluten. The waitress was very attentive to my GF requirement and double checked with the kitchen to reassure me but something still went wrong. I ordered fish tacos and some kind of cake and was told that both were gluten free. I'm guessing it was the cake but not certain. To be fair, the food tasted great. Unfortunately, worst gluten reaction in 6 years.

I was hesitant based on some of the bad reviews but I enjoyed dinner here! The majority of the menu can be made gluten free and they had good dairy free and vegetarian options as well.

I was impressed that when I told my server I had a gluten allergy, he immediately said “Celiac”? and made a note for the kitchen. I stuck to the naturally gluten free tofu poke and felt fine after. It was delicious!

Our server seemed knowledgeable about their gf offerings, and we were told that the mushroom gnocchi appetizer and the fish tacos could be made gluten free, so that’s what I ordered.. I then spent the whole night sick. There are so many other places on Moody Street that are celiac safe - go to one of those instead!

Went here tonight for dinner, and I am now extremely gluten sick. Do not recommend. I told them I was gluten free, and when my food came out I double checked to make sure it was safe. I still got sick.

The staff was great and could describe all the GF options they have available. Gluten free pasta, pizza, fried food as they have a separate area for frying GF food. So many options I’ll be back!

Really great staff ! They understand the needs of someone that is celiac . Must try the seared scallops with the Risotto!!
