Bistro Basque

I use to love this restaurant before I found out I had a severe gluten allergy! The service here is the best you could ask for! But now with my allergy I would not risk this restaurant again. There is no gluten free menu. The staff just said "point to what you want and we will see if the chef can make it gluten free," which always sets off alarm bells for me! The appetizer was safe, but the steak, with a different sauce that was suppose to come with roasted potatoes, came with a huge slice of scalloped potatoes! Also, no desserts unless you wanted a bowl of strawberries! Sad won't be going back here.
