Bistro St. Michael

To start off, I did not have a reaction to my meal, the food was very tasty and it was a lovely atmosphere. We were there during the brunch service. We approached with great caution as there were no reviews but stopped in to chat since we were walking by. The host was aware of cautions and offered GF bread and buns noting they could not be toasted due to cross contamination. Once seated the Server suggested the best option to be the omelette with bacon avocado and tomato saying she would not the cautions and then speak to the kitchen about a fresh pan and gloves. I had a piece of bread which was warmed the plate going through the salamander. It was great. The menu did not note GF in anyway. We are traveling, the place we are staying is close by and we had no firm plans for the day so I uncharacteristically took a chance here which turned out in my favor. Frankly, I was a little on edge about getting sick afterwards but had not the least little reaction. If you go in and don't get a clear positive feeling from the staff then likely best to avoid.
