I have only respect for small town rural places that survived 2020. However, since there is nowhere else to eat in Cerillos, you need to know that they no longer have gf buns and refuse as stated policy to change menu items or accommodate anything. Go enjoy the ambiance and a bottled beverage, but drive on for a meal. Beer Creek is the next closest place with (despite the name) reliably safe gf food.

Almost all sandwiches can be made as a salad and their potato fries/ chips are made in a dedicated fryer. This is an old time village and this saloon is authentic. The visit is worth the 1 mile detour from NM 14.
