I’m gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free so breakfast is HARD to find. The waitress was extremely nice and accommodating. I was able to order a custom scramble. She let me swap out the eggs and cheese for some veggies. I also was not charged any extra for the additions. They used oil instead of butter for the potatoes to keep it dairy-free. They do have gf toast, pancakes, and French toast (advertised on Facebook, but not the menu). I did opt for the fruit as my side due to my other intolerances. They also had milk substitutes for the coffee menu, which is a huge plus at a local breakfast place like this. Food was delicious and there was no wait to be seated on a Sunday morning. Their Facebook page list the daily specials.

Ordered a few sandwiches and pancakes. They were good and safe. Just ask for it to be GF and most items seem to be able to be made that way

Wonderfully quaint and comfortable place. Food was excellent. Knowledgeable staff who kept the gluten free order clear of any cross contamination. The only reason we haven’t gone back a second time, is it each of the five times we’ve tried – they’ve been too busy!

(I suppose that’s a good thing?!)

My husband called ahead of time as I have Celiacs and a very polite gentleman told him I could have the Gf pancake and toast and that they could make most egg entrees on a cook surface that would limit cross contamination and that the toast wouldn’t be buttered. We went and I was so thoroughly pleased. I had the farmers scramble with GF toast and my husband and I shared a single GF pancake. Soooooo good. We don’t live nearby but we are already plotting our next stop in De Pere so we can come back!

The food and service at BHH was fabulous. I had a scramble with gluten free toast and fresh made homemade jam. So good! Don’t forget the coffee - a great location, menu, and can’t wait to visit again.
