No separate toaster. I don’t know why they would not have this, it is so simple to be inclusive…. Apparently they used to. I don’t know why they would change that.

Unfortunately, they no longer have a separate GF toaster, so it’s no longer celiac safe
— No gluten-free information on the menu
Its always nice to find a gf bagel and a facility that cares about cross contamination however for the exorbitant price of $35 for 2 bagels and 2 orange juices and a 45 minute wait time it just wasn’t worth it. Bagels are extremely tiny and I got the BEC and i found 4 egg shells in my sandwich. Wish i didnt go

The GF bagels are awesome and taste great. staff were really nervous about cross contamination. They suggested I don’t have any condiments as there are crumbs all in them and it wouldn’t be safe. They have a separate toaster, however because they were so concerned about cross contamination, I asked if I could just bring the untoasted bagel home myself - he told me they couldn’t do that because there’s egg in the bagels so legally they have to toast them (???) that was weird. Anyways - flavour was great and I didn’t get sick, but it felt like a hassle when I asked questions. If you are celiac just be careful!

The other two reviews are out of date. Black Seed now partners with Modern Bread and Bagel and has GF everything and sesame bagels at this location (I think most have them, but can only speak to this location). Not a dedicated kitchen. Worth a visit if you cant make it to MB&B on the UWS!

Up there with the gold standard GF bagels of today - Katz and Odd Bagel - these potato flour bagels fit the bill. Like any GF bagel they’re best toasted. I toasted at home so don’t know if they have a safe toaster. Bagels have good flavor and texture. Typically denser than a standard gluten bagel but these stand on well and are better than 99% of GF bagels out there which are basically so far from being bagels. Made off site with separate equipment but baked in same ovens. My isolated Nima test came out good and was happy it did.
