Review of Blackbird Bakery

this bakery is worth the drive- today they had quiche, cupcakes, cookies, scones, berry tarts, cookie pops, and lemoncello chocolate cakes- don't try to watch calories here, just buy one of everything!! whole loaves ($10) of Amish white, boule, & cinnamon available with 24 hrs notice. sweet & delicious! try the donut holes, but be there early! Karen's books and bag mixes available here too. reminds me of erin mckenna's little bakery in orlando and downtown chicago's do-rite donuts. there is seating but the in bakery seating is cozy. thank you to Karen Morgan for opening a brick & mortar location!! hope you can expand south very soon!
