As soon as I asked about gluten free items the employee doing the sides showed me all of them on a poster menu. Then he yelled out to all other employees this was a gluten order. They immediately replaced the cutting board, gloves and all utensils with new. They made sure everyone knew it was a gluten free order. They double wrapped and bagged separately the one sandwich for my dad. They were the nicest ppl and so understanding. They made me feel So good that everything was not cross contaminated. Plus, the food was delicious. Will Come back over and over!

We highly recommend Black’s. They have a list of GF sides and meats and even their sauce is GF. We ordered turkey and when they heard we were GF, they changed gloves and put new butcher paper on the cutting black and paper on the scale. They also got a new piece of meat and a clean knife. Everything was delicious! They went above and beyond and had excellent service!

All of the meat aside from the sausage is safe, as well as most of the sides which each have separate scoops. When I told them about gluten allergy, they laid down parchment paper, got a new cutting board and knives, and got a fresh piece of meat from the back. Was honestly surprised how well they did. Felt very safe eating here, and food was great.

I gotta say that I appreciate that they offer gluten free, however they only have brisket & ribs GF. But they seemed a bit annoyed that they had to swap the paper, knife, gloves, etc. because their chicken and sausage is NOT gf.
So if they’re out of brisket and ribs then you’re sol. They were out of ribs when we came. Their sauce is gf so that’s nice and so is the cole slaw.
The brisket was ok. We had to use a knife on the “moist” brisket so that was a surprise. For a bbq place that gets so much hype, I was less than impressed with the quality of their food.
If you’re looking for a much better gf experience, try heading 40 mins north to TERRY BLACKS. Get there early… almost everything they have is GF! Their Brisket puts this one to shame.
In a pinch tho, I’d eat here again. Thanks for offering Gf guys! I just think you could cut the gluten in the chicken and sausage and make it a better experience.

Online menu is clearly marked. Asked for my GF food to be separated from my husband’s non-GF and they told me that they would put down a new cutting board to prepare the GF items! I was so excited to eat bbq that was low risk of cross-contamination!
