I told them I have celiac and they changed their gloves, knives and got a new brisket. They also laid paper down and changed their gloves. Really appreciate them and didn’t get sick!

The brisket and beef rib were very good, but I did ask them to change gloves. I noticed that the server was touching all the meats after making sandwiches on the same block. I expected to have a reaction but luckily did not.
Also, there was some confusion about which sides were GF. I was told I could only have potato salad or cole slaw and that the beans and green beans both had gluten. That’s different than the other reviews here. Not sure I’d go back.

All the meats (except sausage) and sauces are gluten free, as are most of the sides. The website lists options clearly marked but they are not marked on the wall (where the menu is written) in the restaurant itself. Very tasty barbecue.

Yes
Meat was good, beans not so much. They have cider!
Online menu clearly states what’s gf and what’s not. The brisket was delicious, the potato salad was good, not sure about the sauce.
Yes
They told me all their meat was gluten free and I was just about to order when he held up the sausage and said "except the sausage". All the meat was on the same cutting board and he was handling and touching all the meat with the same gloves. I knew from that, that no meat was safe for someone with Celiac. The side dishes were all in the same area, and when I saw them dishing out the macaroni and cheese, it was right over the beans and could easily have fallen in and contaminated them, and probably did before I saw them. Not safe for Celiac!
No
The barbecue was delicious. On the board in the restaurant they don't list any allergen information. However if you go to their website they detail what is gluten free and have a whole page explaining their philosophy about gluten free.
