No gluten free menu. Waiter couldn’t tell how food was prepared so unsure if meat was cooked on same grill as toasted bread. He wasn’t willing to go ask either he simply said “I’m not sure” and stared at me. Would not recommend.

Blaine’s is one of my favorite restaurants in Gatlinburg for gluten free. The staff is knowledgeable and the food is good. I had the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli and left very full. **This location does not have a dedicated fryer for fries.**

The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Even though their gluten free menu has fries on it, he was quick to point out that they do not have a dedicated fryer. Saved me. So I had the mushroom room Swiss burger on a gluten free bun that was delicious. Added a side of broccoli and felt very satisfied.

This was not a positive dining experience for myself. I was excited after reading they had a GF menu but the hostess and server seemed to know very little about it. The items on this menu are cooked on the same space as bread so although they are GF, cross contamination occurs and same for sides cooked in fryers They agreed to cook my steak on the open grill, I had mashed potatoes and a side salad w/o croutons. They only have one dressing that is GF and it's a vinaigrette. The only reason for stars at all is because the food was somewhat good although getting my food was an ordeal and service was subpar.

Had the house salad with vinaigrette- fantastic! Bacon and cheese galore! Ordered a cheeseburger off of the gluten free menu and asked about the fries since they were on the gf menu and he said they have there own fryer, I had him go ask the kitchen as well- you can never be too careful especially on vacation. My 2 children and I chanced it and all 3 of us never got sick. The burgers are huge-1/2 lb so I shared with my daughter. I Would go back.

GF bun was really good!!! Soft and very good flavor!!! Taste like a real bread. They don’t guarantee the fries to be GF due to cross contamination. However, I substituted for mashed potatoes. Food was tasty.

Overall, I was very disappointed with Blaine's. I was informed that there is no dedicated fryer, so fries are not an option. I ordered a cheeseburger with a gluten free bun and specifically requested it not be toasted after they told me they toast all of the buns on the same place on the grill-not something you can do and have it be gluten free. Our waiter had next to no knowledge about gluten or Celiac disease, and when I asked to speak to a manager, the person that came over didn't know much more. He offered to tell the kitchen to specifically make sure the bun wasn't toasted and ask them to take precautions. When the food came out, the bun was definitely toasted. Not wanting to chance anything, I asked for it to be remade. A different manager came over and talked to us and apologized profusely, telling me that the owner's son has a gluten allergy and the kitchen is trained. They remade my food and didn't charge for it, but it was mediocre and obviously the kitchen wasn't "trained" very well.

Gf menu. Great salad, great vinaigrette, great burger with yummy gf bun. Manager came out to personally verify meal order and tracked it in kitchen. They are up front that fried foods have a designated fryer but can't guarantee gf so discouraged risking for Celiac. Family of 4 ate under $40. I will be back!

Food is delicious! Fresh baked buns and hamburgers are so juicy!!!! They have gluten free buns and a dedicated deep fryer for French fries. No separate menu but they do have gf options. Only gf appetizer is the stuffed peppers. Son loved his gf fries and burger and wanted seconds!

They had several options. Opted for the chicken strawberry salad. It was wonderful! The chicken was grilled and juicy. Server was very knowledgeable and conscientious and even put my husband's fries on a separate plate from his fish so I could have a few. The upstairs outside deck was lovely.

Sitting here having a wonderful burger. GF bun is perfect. Cheeseburger is cooked exactly as i ordered. Brandon, the waiter, was fantastic. He even asked me to let him know if i had any concerns that something might be contaminated. I'll revise this if i have a problem but at this point i plan on returning

Very average. Had a burger and coleslaw. Burger was a frozen patty on a small gf bun. Coleslaw was dry. My wife had a "regular meal." It was average as well. Will not return.

Good burger! Several gluten free entree options, but only 3 side options(mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, and cole slaw). The Deluxe Burger was very simple, but overall good. I will definitely visit again to try the other gluten free options.

Ordered the strawberry chicken salad and the red sangria. Salad was delicious. Very sensitive celiac and had no reaction. Bartender double checked the sangria ingredients with me to be sure it was gluten free also. Decent menu with burgers and other options. Wasn't too pricey. $9 for the salad. Service was good.

Ate here twice while visiting for a week. They have amazing burgers and they are not small! Their gluten free bun was soft and tasty. Their coleslaw is good. Had only 3 side options (coleslaw, mashed potatoes and ?) This was my first trip since being diagnosed Celiac. Never had issues after eating.

We ate here twice during or stay. The hamburger with the gluten free bun was great! A soft bun! Then the next time I had the broiled trout. On the second visit we found out that the owner has gluten issues and wants all of those who have issues to still have a great experience.

The gluten free menu had a reasonable number of offerings for main dishes. I got the burger on a gluten free bun, and it was amazing! I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of side items.... Everyone else in our party was full after lunch, but I was still hungry after a tiny serving of mashed potatoes.

The burger was ok, GF bun was very good. Didn't care for mashed potatoes at all, no one at table did, they tasted like gritty instant potatoes. We were disappointed after seeing such high reviews.

The GF buns here were some of the best that I have had. I was disappointed that a place that offers GF items didn't have a dedicated fryer. Service was good and not at all crowded during the holiday weekend.

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! I am very sensitive and know it is risky for me to eat anywhere. But generally, at most, I get cross contamination symptoms that, while painful, are bearable. My 2 year old son is NOT sensitive to cross contamination at all. I had heard and read reviews and decided this would be a great place. WRONG! We both became very ill after eating here, my son has had some of the worst symptoms he has ever experienced! It would be my best guess that they used wheat to thicken the chili. I had a side salad and chili off the GF menu, and I requested the chicken from one of the GF salads and broccoli for my son, however, he ate my chili and the broccoli instead. Save yourself the pain, so not go to this restaurant!

My Daughter has wheat and soy allergies--so we normally order gluten free. The waitress was very knowledgeable about which items contained gluten--I believe she stated the owner was a celiac. She also went out of her way to check for soy in the menu items. The food was excellent and the service was great. Everything seemed very fresh. We would recommend Blaine's very highly!

They offer a designated gluten-free menu. We ordered the burger w/gf bun and fries and broccoli. We also ordered the Smoky Mountain rainbow trout plate. The food arrived and it was amazing! The burgers were juicy, and the gf bread was delicious. The fresh-daily rainbow trout was delicious! The server was knowledgable. And even the server who delivers the meal was knowledgable about celiac.

Fantastic hamburger with a delicious soft bun. Great service and quiet atmosphere right on the parkway. Lots of stairs but worth the climb. The address in here is NOT correct though. They are on the main drag at stoplight #8 across from Five Guys. If you use the directions on here, you'll end up at the Sleeping Bear Motel.
