They were great!!! They told me everything I needed to know and were very very nice. :) Answered all the questions I had and the only menu item I couldn't have was one kind of granola that they told me was made in a facility with wheat but they had completely gluten free granola for no extra charge. (Note that all the smoothies and many of the bowls use almond milk but I'm not allergic to almonds. I'm allergic to peanuts, pistachios, and cashews, which they told me were not in any menu item or in the facility at all)

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback regarding Blendabowl! I’m so sorry it took me so long to respond, i was so busy using this site for my personal use, I didn’t even realize my business had made it on here! As a Celiac myself, we take great pride in providing a Gluten Free space for our customers and community. There are only a handful of items to stay away from, regarding cross-contamination… Our regular granola (no worries, we have a celiac safe, no extra charge 😉), Hemp Protein, Coconut, and Bee Pollen. These are the ONLY items carried in house that come from a location that also produces gluten products. We hope you’ll join us again soon and give a few more items a try! Our Pitaya bowl and Vegan Quinoa Chili are Delish!!

My husband and I have always been foodies, trying out new places. We’d celebrate with fancy one of a kind type meals, or chasing around food trucks, it didn’t really matter, as long as it was creative and delicious! Then March 2017, I was diagnosed with Celiac! I lost the spark, the enjoyment of trying new things, I really just didn’t like food anymore. I was in a food depression, per se. For years, we joked about my husband starting a food truck selling tapas, because he is amazing in the kitchen. After the diagnosis, my husband suggested Acai bowls, fast forward to 2018 and Blendabowl was born, as a Food Truck!! We have, since the beginning, wanted to offer a safe space. I have, as many have, been told it was gluten free, only to find out later that it wasn’t. Unfortunately, we learned that food truck festivals and gatherings, just weren’t for us, so we started flying solo. This found us many successes and followers, allowing us to open our 1st Brick and Mortar location in July 2021. Of course we continued with our gluten free concept, and went a step further to offer a peanut free space, that only carries almonds and hazelnut. We understand that eating with food allergies is scary, so we wanted to be able to give a little peace of mind to our customers and community.
We only have a handful of items in house that are produced in facilities that also produce nuts and gluten. These items are as follows…. Our Regular Granola, Hemp Protein, Coconut & Bee Pollen.
We offer an alternative to our Regular granola, a delicious, crunchy granola that is produced in a 100% gluten and nut free space!

Great place! The smoothie bowls are so good and everything is gluten free except their original granola because it might have cross contamination. However, they have celiac safe granola at no additional cost!

The only items to be aware, that may or may not affect you… the regular granola, as you stated, Hemp Protein, Bee Pollen and Coconut. These are the only items on the menu, that were produced in facilities that also produce gluten products.

99% of the menu is celiac friendly. They have celiac safe GF granola available at no extra charge. Great acai, dragonfruit and other smoothie bowls as well as a variety of smoothies.

Thank you so much for sharing your review! I apologize that it has taken me so long to respond. I use the site regularly for my personal use, i never even thought about my business being on here! LOL. Now i know!! Please know, the only items to beware of, even though I have never had an issue myself, the regular granola, hemp protein, coconut and bee pollen. All of these items are processed in facilities that also process gluten.
