John our server was very knowledgeable and understanding of my celiacs and went above and beyond to meet my dietary restrictions. The whole restaurant made us feel welcomed. I ordered the leek soup and the quail. My boyfriend ordered an arugula salad and short ribs. All of it was delicious. So delicious that we had to come back for dinner the very next night. We were welcomed by the whole staff, including the chef! We felt like at home. This time we started out with the octopus and I ordered the scallops. Everything was amazing just like the night before.

Love this restaurant! We celebrated our anniversary here. The menu is not huge but I really enjoyed my Quail. Candace the waitress was awesome. She really looked after us too. I felt safe eating here. There was enough choices considering the size of the menu.

Chef owned and operated restaurant located just south of downtown San Antonio. Serves upscale, contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on seasonal and fresh local ingredients. Their menu changes frequently with an emphasis on what is seasonal and creative.I had no trouble ordering a starter and entree that were gluten free and celiac safe. The waiter made me feel at ease, double checked an item and communicated directly with the Chef on cross contamination concerns. It was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Beautiful atmosphere, good wine selection, delicious food, lovely service!
