This is my all time favorite bakery! It has the best gluten-free and vegan options. There is a separate area that has all the gluten free items. My go to bakery items are the cinnamon sugar donut and a chocolate chip cookie. I love going to Bloom for a yummy breakfast sandwich as well! The gf bread is AMAZING!

My daughter was diagnosed with celiac a month ago so we have been trying to have fun finding new places for her to try. They have a whole case filled with gluten free baked goods. My daughter got a vanilla cupcake and I got a coffee chocolate chip scone which as amazing as well. We will definitely be going back.

I have been to several bakeries in the few days I’ve been in this town and this is the first one where I’ve been able to find some thing I can eat. They have an entire case on the far end of the counter with items that are both gluten-free and dairy free. I tried three items and everything was very delicious. Parking was difficult to find, however, it was very worth it!!

Loved getting my gf treats here because i was assured they took GF seriously. However i got a loaf of gf bread from them which they assured me were to the same standards but i ended up getting sick.

I was assured that all g-f items are prepped separately and they take cross contact very seriously. The coffee cake I had was delicious and I would happily go back any day!

We have been enjoying Bloom for many years now. I’ve had everything from the scones and donuts to the coffee cake, cakes and cupcakes with no problems. Their GF/Vegan selection is a bit more limited than their regular offerings, but it’s wonderful to even have a bakery like this in Madison. I love everything especially their cookies and cupcakes. The owner is amazing and really puts a lot of effort into this portion of her bakery. I’ve been strict GF/DF for 5+ years (not celiac, have MS) and I’ve not had any issues.

I like a chocolate chip cookie as much as the next person, but OMG the chocolate chip cookies here were to the next level good. It is like someone took the very essence of a chocolate chip cookie, wrapped it in love, and baked it in a dedicated gluten free space. The coffee cake and doughnuts were also delicious! The staff and owners were all very friendly and knowledgeable, truly wonderful experience!

Had the biscuits and mushroom gravy for brunch and it was phenomenal. The gravy has more of an interesting (but very delicious) rice pilaf taste, so keep that in mind if you are wanting something that tastes like breakfast. I did want the sausage gravy, but it's not gf. It would be easy to do with gf flour, but they mostly do all gf items as vegan also, which is sad if you like meat. I did get a side of gf sausage with my gravy and it was also good. My husband got 2 gf/ vegan baked good items- a whoopie pie and peanut butter cookie, and I would give them a 3 out of 5. I do not eat vegan, so maybe they are great for that situation, but they do that thing where they put A LOT of sugar in there to compensate for the flavor. The staff was notably sweet and helpful- every single one of them. Great customer service!

Excellent bakery! It is so good to know that I can eat without worrying about gluten.
The best gluten free donut I’ve ever had! Also delicious sandwich options on homemade GF bread. A must if you visit Madison!

It's so good. I got the mixed hash with poached eggs and a chocolate ganache cupcake (per recommendation of my server) and they were soo good. It is a little pricey but well worth it for Celiac's to have a separate gf kitchen

It's not often where I live that I get to go in to a diner/bakery and order from an entire menu dedicated to gluten free dishes or let alone, purchase any kind of gluten free baked goods. This place though, has all that and more. While on a weekend getaway to Madison, we stumbled upon this gem of magic made into food. Having Celiac's, I was able to completely enjoy myself here. The menu was absolutely fantastic and the choice in baked goods was phenomenal. I had the Bloom Benedict and mopped up every ounce of deliciousness with the moist flakey biscuit on which the perfectly poached eggs and toppings rested. We also couldn't pick just one of the beautifully crafted gluten free baked items, so we bought one of each. I haven't tasted them all yet, but of the four I've had I know I'm in for a food coma very soon. Bloom also has a wide selection of vegan meals, desserts, and pastries. And if you're still not convinced of how incredible this place is, know that they also are a safe space for the LGBTQ community AND they sell a gorgeous "Love is Love" purple and rainbow frosted, gluten free, vegan cupcake. Do be prepared for a wait if visiting during a normal meal time, but it's worth every second. Thank you for doing what you do Bloom staff, and somehow, someway, I will be back.

I am in heaven every time I go to Bloom. It’s difficult to choose one thing, so I often leave with a box full of goodies. Even my family of gluten eaters love when I bring home anything from Bloom. Last Thanksgiving I ordered the pumpkin pie to serve on Thanksgiving Day. A bit indulgent, but totally worth it. This was the BEST pumpkin pie I have ever had. Honestly, I didn’t want to share it. The crust was flaky and absolute perfection- quite a feat considering this was also a vegan pie. I can’t wait to get another one this year.

An amazing gf bakery with things of vegan options! Scramblers and biscuits are great for savory treats as well! Separate, gf kitchen, so very Celiac's friendly!

Decent food but way over priced for what you get. Baked goods we ok but I’ve had better.

Cute bakery and cafe with lots of gluten free options! Gluten free menu with waffles, biscuits, eggs benedict. Delicious coffee, cute atmosphere. Great find on our trip to Madison!

GF biscuits and gravy. Need I say more? :) Have had a nice conversation with the owner about all the precautions she takes for GF. She knows her stuff and takes it seriously. I did once have a mixup with a takeaway order, but I should have checked it before I walked out the door. (Thankfully, I could tell the difference by sight, and didn’t consume any of it.)

This is my go to bakery for Celiac friendly gluten free baked goods. They use separate kitchen spaces for gluten free baking, which prevents cross contamination. The texture and flavors of GF pastries and cakes is phenomenal, sometimes even better than glutinous baked goods! I love supporting this locally owned bakery and pretty much exclusively purchase GF baked goods from here.
Delicious GF pastries! And kept in a dedicated bakery case. They also have GF biscuits for sandwiches although we didn’t try them.

I'm thinking that one of the past reviewers didn't look closely enough at the bakery case! Gluten free and gluten-containing baked goods might appear to be in the same case at first glance.....but it's actually two separate cases right next to each other. This has been the case every time I've been here, and the workers/owners have clarified that gluten free and gluten-containing baked goods are always separate. It's also awesome that the GF stuff is vegan as well, for those who also have to avoid dairy! It can be so hard to find a GF/DF treat. I'm not usually a cupcake person, but the GF cupcakes here are the best cupcakes I've ever had. Love this place!!!

Just stopped in to look - they have lots of gluten free baked goodies but everything was in the same case with crumbs all over the inside of the case and all over the trays. Everything looked delicious but sorry, not safe for anyone with celiac or especially sensitive.

delicious biscuit sandwiches. plus there's a separate case with gf cupcakes, cookies, doughnuts.
