I walked into the bakery, very curious to find out what all they had and what I might could eat. I explained this is an entirely new lifestyle for me and i am trying to follow a FODMAP diet. What appeared to be the owner turned her body around with her back to me the entire time I talked with the woman waiting on me. She was most pleasant and helpful, explaining what all they cook their products with and maybe more importantly, what they cook without. I felt an uneasiness the entire time with this person, the owner, with her back to me this whole time. I finally thanked the young lady and excused myself and left. Why treat a potential customer this way? I think it was because I did not fit her criteria of the customer base she is trying to attract. Sad.
