Gluten Intolerant

Fav açaí bowls in OC. They have two GF granola options! But are in containers next to non-gf granola, so there might be cross contamination risk for those who react severely? You can ask for fresh scoop of granola from original container and glove change if there’s an issue.

Also fully dairy-free, vegan menu. Btw: there’s 2 locations one mile apart, this Main St location and one in Old Towne Orange.

Symptomatic Celiac

The bowls are okay but I was told none of the granolas are gf which sucks because that’s what makes the bowl for me. Be aware of this when you go because they will need to take a lot of precautions to keep your food safe.

I used to be a very frequent blue bowl customer, the hemp and pumpkin granola was gluten free & delicious on the bowls. Recently I went and had a severe reaction that day but couldn’t figure out why. I went again today and there was a notice up that the hemp granola was no longer gluten free. Due to Covid I’ve been ordering online & wasn’t aware of the change. My cashier offered to fix my order today with the pumpkin granola. Supposedly it was gf but I had another reaction. Great bowls but I wouldn’t get granola since the supplier change

Celiac

Overall Rating

Review

A great Açaí bowl place. There are four types of granola: two are gluten free; two are not. We were told everything else is gluten free. It was delicious. My son has Celiac but experiences no symptoms or pain when he ingests gluten so it is hard for us to know if he accidentally gets some. If anyone eats there with or without incident, would love to hear.
