The waitress was very knowledgeable. She saw the chef and invited him over to talk to me. The salmon and the vegetables were delicious and they can make a few things gluten-free. They totally understand about celiac. I am looking forward to going again.

I love everything about this place! They have the options for what can be made gluten free marked on the menu with stars. I had lemon roasted chicken with collards and grits, and they were all delicious. My partner had shrimp and grits, and he said his was delicious too. We had house made custard ice cream that was the best of all. The service was very friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond accommodating. If I lived here I would be a regular. The server said the soup of the day is usually gluten free as well.

My celiac daughter was just raving about her recent dinner here. She said the chef came out personally to talk to her and made sure she had a safe dinner. She said her blackened catfish was one of the best fish dinners she ever ate.

Gluten free bread is cooked on the same pan as regular bread. I ordered the roasted chicken with smashed potatoes. While it was gluten free, it was really buttery and greasy.

I love Blue Gill so much!! There are great gluten free options and even gluten free bread! I typically get the Florida Steak with 2 sides of bread and the chips as an appetizer which are also very delicious!! Certainly reccomend if you live in Gainesville or are visiting.

Fantastic food and service. Staff was aware of cross contamination and assured they would avoid it. Had smoked fish dip with tortilla chips and one of the most amazing burgers of my life. They have reasonably priced gf cocktails too.
