Blue Monkey Tavern

Went to lunch and ordered a salad marked gluten free. I told the waiter I had to be gluten free and he stated that "the food was gluten free but couldn't guarantee it was not cross contaminated because flour flies around the kitchen and other food is prepared in the kitchen". He then told me "we are not a gluten free restaurant. " Needless to say I did not eat there!

Great local hangout. Eaten there a dozen + times with no issues. Items that are GF listed clearly on the menu. And a huge selection of beer for the non gluten folks you're with

No gluten free menu, but they are familiar with food allergies and will help you eat safely here. All the sauces are made from scratch so the cook knows exactly what is safe to eat. I feel completely safe when eating here.
