We were looking for a local place near I-95 for a quick lunch. This was a bit out of the way, but it had good reviews, so we thought we’d take a chance. It’s in the historic district of Fayetteville; very quaint. The restaurant is small and they were busy. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to sit down because the kitchen was busy and finally got seated at the bar. No gluten-free menu, but the waitress was knowledgeable. There was no gluten-free bread as older reviews mentioned. They used gluten-free tortillas and could make most sandwiches as wraps. Food was prepared quickly. I had the Turkey with Brie which was heated and very good. I added a “side” of Tomato Basil soup, which was larger than I expected for a side and was also very good. My husband had the Cuban (he’s not GF), and said that was good as well. Our “quick” stop ended up taking more than 1 1/2 hours, so we won’t do it again. But if you’re in Fayetteville, it’s worth coming in for the food.
