We contacted the owner, Fikre, about the injera, which is the staple, crepe-like bread for eating Ethiopian. He told us he uses a bit of wheat for just the right consistency, but with 24 hours notice will make it GF. We ate there last night, and it was spot on. We had the special, which includes an appetizer of delights wrapped in wheat pastry, which my husband said was quite good. The rest of the meal was delicious and GF. Ethiopian cuisine is served on a huge injera with a bunch of curries on top. More injera is served with the dish, and all is eaten by hand - injera is the utensil! If you know Ethiopian or want an interesting and delicious ethnic eating event, Blue Nile is highly recommended. Call 24 hours in advance, and Fikre will take care of you. Maybe with enough requests, they will always have GF injera!
