Blue Sushi Sake Grill

I had a terrible dining experience here. I called ahead to confirm that they would use clean gloves and clean pans/utensils and they said yes. When we arrived I ordered a gluten free salad and two of the gluten free Cali rolls. I confirmed with the waiter again that they would use clean gloves, clean pans/utensils, and knife/cutting board for the sushi. He then brought out my salad with gluten wontons on top. After I pointed it out he took it back and came back immediately with a salad that didn’t have wontons. At this point, my husband and I said we felt more comfortable just paying the check for what we had received and leaving because I didn’t feel safe to eat anymore. He kept reassuring us and said the manager would watch them make my sushi. We decided to trust him and I started to eat my sushi. Halfway through eating the rolls, I found that the cucumber was black inside the roll. I showed the manager and he was nice about it but I will never eat here again. This means that the manager watched them cut bad cucumber and served it to me. In the end, I had some minor cross contact symptoms but, more importantly, I was lucky that I didn’t eat the bad cucumber or wontons and become severely ill. I don’t trust any of their food procedures for allergies or food safety in general.

Loved this place! I ordered sushi and some Cali rolls. They had gluten free soy sauce and they brought my food out seperate. The service was great and server was able to help.

First time sushi eater and was very happy to see the plethora of gluten free options available. Online Gluten Free Menu, (accessible through QR code on physical menu), has many options for those eating gluten free. Server was knowledgeable on cross contact and made sure to bring me gluten free soy sauce so I didn’t end up using the soy sauce at the table. No issues or feeling sick afterwards. Great experience!

This place is 100% celiac friendly! I was amazed because the menu had several GF sushi options and the manager came to the table to let us know that they take allergies very seriously and have dedicated equipment for allergies! The service was great and the food was delicious!!! It’s amazing to have a sushi restaurant offering GF! Yum yum sushi!!!! :)

Separate GF menu, really limited (but still great options) compared to the main one so don’t torture yourself and look at the main menu first.

GF soy sauce, knowledgeable servers who can mark the gluten “allergy” for the kitchen - they change gloves and clean utensils / boards.

They have a separate GF menu. Not as extensive as the regular menu, but still full of great options. They have GF soy sauce. And they’re always sure to ask if my GF preference is an allergy and make the proper accommodations. I have never had a bad experience.

I was in the other day and my server was phenomenal. She was sure to talk to the kitchen about my allergy without me even asking her to. Someone tried to bring out my salad and out wonton strips on it. She stopped them before the even got to the table and had it remade for me.

Been here twice now and both times food and drinks were amazing! They’re very careful with bringing food out and even reminding me when I’m unable to have something. The servers are extremely kind and even recommended some of their own favorite GF dishes.

Amazing restaurant! Love all their GF options. One of my girlfriend’s favorite restaurants. We love everything about this place. The ambiance is delightful, cocktails delicious, and sushi delectable!
