Consistently tasty and celiac safe! Boboko is one of the few local Harrisonburg restaurants that understands the needs of those with Celiac. Most of their menu can be prepared GF without modifications or with slight modifications. We like restaurants with small menus so this is a plus for us and have our favorites. The macarons are delicious for dessert and the rotating flavor options are excellent. The restaurant itself is tiny, so be sure to make a reservation. I think they do a lot of their business through takeout. We’ve had great experiences both in the restaurant and with takeout.

It was a perfect evening. The team members were delightful, the GF options and all other allergy knowledge/awareness was immediately reassuring and the food was FABULOUS. The only downside is the dining area is limited but there’s takeout options and in our opinion, it’s worth the wait (we went to the restaurant bar next door) and OMG did I mention the macaron??? Heavenly!

Love this place! I feel very safe ordering from here, and I have multiple times without issue. My favorite dish is the beef rendang.

Great experience! I ordered over the phone. The employee I spoke to was very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions with all the right answers. I asked for a heightened level of CC precautions, which they assured me would be taken care of. When I picked up the food, the receipt was clearly marked with my request. The food was very tasty!

We have visited here both pre-c-19 and post for takeout and food is always delicious! Highly recommend. I’ve never had a reaction on multiple visits.

The meal that I ordered came with rice crackers. The waitress told me that she didn’t include them with my meal because they were fried and she didn’t want to have my meal cross contaminated because of them. I really appreciated that

There are tons of items that are clearly marked GF (and Dairy free). I had the stir fry vegetables with chicken and rice. Large portion and absolutely delicious

Flavorful menu with many gluten-free options. The chef is one of the co-owners and very celiac aware. Many gluten-free options. Attentive staff. Delicious food. Highly recommend!
