AMAZING FOOD. As someone with celiacs, I always crave Italian, but I am wary of eating at most Italian restaurants for fear that I will get sick from cross contamination. I have eaten here several times now and it has always been phenomenal food and I have never gotten sick. The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable about celiacs and, they go out of their way to make you feel safe eating here! All of the appetizers are gluten free (yes even the fried risotto balls and meatballs!!) and they are so good! I am obsessed with the gluten free chicken parm! Their gluten free pizza crust is also great! Cannot say enough positive things about this establishment! HIGHLY recommend!

Such delicious, safe food right by the theaters. Our go-to spot whenever we’re at the Kimmel.

5 stars all the way. The food is amazingly tasty, handled with care, and completely handled separate to prevent any cross contamination. Have been back twice and no issues. GF chicken parm is HUGE and to die for. Great date spot.

Food is phenomenal just like it's sister restaurant Giorgio. Food is ridiculously good, they're very celiac knowledgeable and they now deliver on GrubHub due to Covid-19!

Unbelievably good service and delicious Italian fare. Appetizers are the best part, in my opinion, but I loved the white pizza as well.

Delighted! The first thing we were asked was- Does anyone in your party have a gluten allergy? A place that asks that question and prides themselves on so many offerings for celiacs, I was in heaven!!! Everything was delicious! The sauce is to die for. Go here!!!

Excellent food and extremely knowledgeable about gf options. They offered gf bread for myself and a separate oil (I was told the standard roasted garlic oil for bread has cross contamination problems). I could order basically anything off the menu and have it made gf! The chocolate cake at the end was out of this world delicious! I will 100% be back!

I’m in Philadelphia for work and I had the best dinner last night at Bocconcini on Pine Street! The food and service here is top-notch. The staff is super knowledge about gluten free and cross-contamination and the majority of their offerings are naturally GF or can be made so. They even have a dedicated GF fryer! With that in mind, we started with their Italian chicken wings and arincini, both of which were amazing and had the whole table raving. I then had their Bianco GF pizza which was so delicious- the crust was crisp, light and flakey. So much better than the dense, heavy, break-your-teeth kind of GF crust we normally get! I highly recommend this place if you find yourself in Philly!

The first questioned asked when we were seated was, “Is there anyone dining must be gluten-free?” The menu was explained (almost everything is available GF), the process to avoid cross-contact was explained (including that they have a dedicated fryer). My pasta was delicious - cooked perfectly al dente! Will most definitely return!

Super friendly and most things on menu are GF. We foolishly showed up without a reservation at 7pm on a Saturday before the Celiac 5k but they accommodated us. My chicken parm was enough to feed 3-4 people!

As a celiac we always have to be hyper vigilant about restaurant protocol. For once, I felt like the entire staff was so trained that I could relax and just enjoy the meal. Enjoy some awesome food from here and eat knowing that you’ll be safe !

The arancini 😋 so good! Anything fried (and anything with bread crumbs!) is gf breadcrumbs from Taffets, so you don’t have to worry about contamination there. The entire menu can be made gf and it’s the best Italian food I’ve had. Even my non-gf mom was amazed with the gf food we shared!

All apps are GF!! I had some wings, a risotto ball, and a meatball. I never thought I’d be able to eat any of those items again at a restaurant. The Cesar salad was also yummy. GF bread served too. So many entree options (I didn’t have an entree, but they looked delicious-next time.) Also, our waiter was awesome. I will definitely go back.

Best GF restaurant we have experienced in last 3 years of having Celiac disease. My son says the pizza was his favorite GF crust (I have to agree!) Dedicated fryer-yay! Byob-yay! Can’t wait to go back. You must try the mussels in white sauce with sausage-it’s a “special” app and made the trip into the city so worth it!! Service was also excellent by the way!!

First question the waiter asked was, "do we have any gluten free diners tonight?". This was refreshing and made my normal dining anxiety fade away. They explain everything and the food was tasty. There is a dedicated fryer and all the appetizers are gluten free.

This place is the same owner as Giorgio on Pine (I think). So the food is just as good as Giorgio’s. They have really good bread. They also have pizza and pasta and know which sauces are GF. Reservations usually required.

The entire menu is either gluten free or can be made gluten free ($3 extra for gf pasta or pizza crust). We shared the arancini appetizer and I had a gf cavatelli with salmon and vodka sauce. It was all delicious. I have a gluten intolerance and it was so nice to be able to order anything from the menu. They also brought out gluten free bread when I asked!
