Boka is a world class restaurant that makes some of the best gluten free food you will ever have. The chef builds menus with gluten free diners in mind and has substitutes when necessary that are just as exquisite as the standard preparation. You will feel truly cared for by all staff. Michelin starred restaurant that carefully, safely can do gluten free adaptations with marvelous results! From the manager, to the chef and kitchen staff, to the waiters and table assistants - these people do it right. You get exquisite food beautifully prepared and presented. Its expensive, and so worth it. GO!
I did the 8 course tasting menu. I had noted on my reservation that I was gf. They went to the trouble of checking w each of their purveyors of tasting menu ingredients to be sure each ingredient was gf. When substitutions were necessary, there was minimal disturbance to the dish, and the adaptation was handled beautifully with gorgeous and delicious result. It wasn't just the usual "take-away this, take-away that" until only a tasteless unappetizing dish is left.
Not only that - with no advance notice, they adapted 2 of the tasting menu dishes to the preferences of my guest. Even though they were busy, it was not too much trouble for them.
I plan on returning. You should too. Great for a special occasion, or for treating yourself.

Oh how I love exquisite food that can be made carefully gluten-free!! We called ahead and they gave all the right answers for how they prevent cross contact/contamination in the kitchen. The server did a deep intake of all of the food issues at the table, and assured us they could adapt the tasting menu to suit all our needs, which they did beautifully.
