Bongo Beach Bar and Grille

Gluten free options were not marked on menu and when I asked about gluten free options the waitress had an attitude said she didn't know and walked away. We left since it didn't seem safe for gluten free.

Staff was not knowledgeable on the menu, I ordered a power salad with shrimp that did end up being safe. Not marked with GF items

Great location right on the beach. Regular menu is marked with gluten free options. When I ordered and told the waitress that I have an allergy and needed it to be gluten free, she kind of looked at me confused and just said “ok?” But she wrote allergy on her notepad. I was a tad nervous but ordered the plaza salad with chicken - it was delicious and had no symptoms after!

Fairly limited but it’s always a relief to have GF items marked. Had a salad with chicken—the chicken was meh but the salad itself was pretty good. Location on the beach is nice.
