I ordered a gluten free bagel and it was prepared and then placed in the same bag with the other bagels. When I asked about it I was told that I ordered gluten free so it was in there and looked different than the others. After eating what I believed was the gluten free bagel, I was extremely sick from gluten a few hours later.

i told them i have celiacs so they knew to take precautions. i could just tell they weren’t taken. there was a taste of food that wasn’t a plain cream cheese bagel, but at first i hoped it was something else gf cooked in the same area. i am so swollen and dizzy now. will not be coming back

Their bagels are amazing. Suspiciously amazing. I thought the bagel tasted a little too good while I was eating it, but I didn’t get sick!

Gluten-free bagels, grits and home fries available. Server asked if I have an allergy and said they’d prepare my meal accordingly. Good experience!

Yummy gf everything bagel. I second the other reviews, they ask if it’s an allergy so they can clean and put it on the grill instead of toaster. Only a little foggy but i’m incredibly sensitive so even the slightest bit of cross contamination will do that.. it is a bagel place after all. I’ll still come back :)

I have celiac and I have been eating at Boone Bagelry for years. Sometimes I get asked if my bun can be toasted or if it needs to be grilled separately, and sometimes I have to ask. I normally don’t even get it grilled because the bagelicious is so good, which is my recommendation to everyone. I have only ever had a reaction to the potatoes. The gluten free bagels are listed on the menu and almost every bagel sandwich can be substituted for gluten free

I got the GF everything bagel with egg and cheese and it was good. The waitress asked if gf was a preference or an allergy. When I said allergy she said she’d make sure the cook grilled the bagel on the grill top instead of toaster so no cross contamination. Overall tasted good and I didn’t get sick.

Love this place! They have 3 kinds of GF bagels daily but the plain is the best and fluffiest! Best GF bagel I’ve ever had but be careful if celiac. They wrapped each bagel separately and marked the gf one but put them in same bag. Make sure to say u have an allergy and they’ll mark it. The omelets and home fries are also great!

I had the bagelicious on a gluten free everything bagel (not toasted to avoid cross contamination). It was fantastic! They also marked it as an allergy and packaged it separately from my husbands non GF bagel.

Really good gluten free bagels and three different options
No dedicated toaster. Not all staffed trained on gluten free/cross contamination
Boone bagelry features gluten free bagels! They are delicious. I have eaten there successfully - but be aware that not all staff is knowledgeable on how to keep your food safe. Make sure you specify that you cannot have your bagel toasted and they will offer to grill it for you, which is safe. The home fries have not been a success for me - I get sick. If you would like a side, get grits. Overall though, they are attentive and try and I have had success there! Get the Bagelicious. It’s an incredible breakfast sandwich. :)
