Boston Tavern

As regular at the Boston Tavern in Middleboro, I thought that I would give this place a try as my husband and I were in the area. I ordered my meal, a turkey sandwich and baked tater tots. A waitress (not ours) brought out our meals. As she went to give me mine, I realized that it wasn’t what I ordered. I let her know this and she was incredibly nasty and told me yes it was. I mentioned it again that it was not my sandwich, I ordered turkey and baked tater tots (the ones I was given were fried) She said yes, the Larry Bird chicken sandwich. She dropped our food down and left. Our waitress then came by and I told her the issue. She went back and got the correct order for me. The tater tots came back fried and I mentioned I ordered them baked. She told me that they do have a dedicated fryer, which is great, but that isn’t what I wanted/ordered. I will not be coming back to this location and I will stick to the Boston Tavern in Middleboro.

Small but nice gluten free menu, able to bake the fries/tots for your meal, great staff

Just went here for my son gluten free dinner , the waitress was rude asked what are you having I ordered a ice tea asked what flavors do you have she got rude after order son drink proceeded to tell her what he was gonna eat she interrupted me saying “I’m only doing drinks right now”🙀 went to ask another question being this was our first time here she walked away middle of the question

I have celiac disease second time here waitress was Pam. she was not familiar with the restaurant gluten free beer or the gluten free menu she actually made me feel guilty for having celiac. the good news is the food is good would go again but will ask for a wait staff that is familiar with their menu

Most knowledgeable staff ever. They use separate pans and oil to fry in. Great food every time

gluten sensitive menu with great rolls for a burger or a sandwich. separate fryer for fries.

Hadn't been here in ages. New gluten free menu with dedicated fryer. I had gf teriyaki steak tips and tots. Delicious and no reaction.
