We had a good time here. Even though limited GF options the ambience made up for it. Outdoor deck or indoor seating in a pleasant semi remote area. With so much fried food around it’s a roll of the dice but we did ok.

Enjoyed the low country boil. Very casual setting and a great place to watch the sunset. No reactions afterwards.

Just left Bowen’s and I was pleasantly surprised. Yes. Most menu items are fried. However, their low country boil, steamed oysters, and boiled shrimp are GF. I was able to eat there with no problems. Be prepared for a long line and very casual atmosphere. The staff was friendly and the scenery was simply beautiful.

Nothing here for GF folks except oysters, peel and eat shrimp and maybe corn and coleslaw. Everything is fried. No unfried fish. Quite an experience though and a fun place --just not the best for us GF folks.
