Took a little chance going somewhere new and so glad I did!
While this isn’t your typical place where you will find gf substitutes for bread or fries in a dedicated fryer, the options available are fabulous. I asked for allergy preparation in separate pans, cooking areas, etc. and our waiter kindly told me they could do that. The fryer is contaminated.
I was told the asparagus, the burrata, the braised leeks (fried onions on side) were all GF and tried those. All were lovely, braised leeks with an egg were definitely the best.
Pâté without the bread was GF. We tried that as well and it was great.
Was told the mussels without the bread to dip are GF but didn’t try those this time.
Burger without a bun and fries is safe, but nothing notable. I’d skip it, not that good. My husband got the duck which our waiter didn’t initially think was GF, but the chef brought it out and let us know it was safe. Duck is the best thing we had. Definitely order that.
Was told steak without fries, chicken, and pork chop were GF but didn’t try them. Didn’t really discuss the status of the salmon.
No GF desserts.
