Bravis Modern Street Food

My husband and I go to Bravis nearly every week! We discovered their happy hour and then were enticed to try the empanadas and taquitos! Oh my!!! Run don’t walk!

— Excellent

I LOVE Bravis and go there regularly. The default option for most things is corn instead of flour so there are tons of options and easy to make dairy free.

My go to is the shrimp tacos (if you’re dairy free - ask about the salsa. I’ve never gotten sick with the green salsa but last time one of the newer waiters told me to avoid it so I got the medium red instead)

I also really love the empanadas (without dairy), the chips/salsa/guac flight, and the Al pastor tacos.

My husband really loves their carnita tacos, pork belly tacos, and margaritas. He can do dairy so he gets queso tacos (cheese added between the layers).

They did a great job explaining what was GF on their menu. There were several of the street tacos that were safe as well as a dedicated fried for their tortilla chips. Looking forward to going back!

Good street tacos. Knowledgable about gf. Asked if I was sensitive with cc. When I said yes, they said yep the tacos are for you.

How confident are you that this establishment takes safety precautions against cross-contact?

Staff is very knowledgeable about gluten in ingredients and avoiding cross contamination. New location has a dedicated GF fryer (upon request), meaning chips/nachos are safe. Let server know you have an allergy/celiac disease. The permanent menu is also clearly marked with GF items (soft opening menu is not). Corn street tacos are an excellent option. Absolutely delicious! Overall, have been several times with no issues and more than happy to return.

They are gluten aware. Will serve a burrito without the shell in a bowl. Their Spanish rice has gluten so you must get white. Chips not safe. Corn tortillas also an option.

Not a lot of choices for GF, but the tacos are delicious. All their tacos are gluten free and $2.50 on Tuesdays.
