I just found out that I have Celiac's so I was nervous about going out to eat for the first time since. But they were so accommodating and had so many options. I got a gluten free pasta dish and chopped salad. So good. Definitely would recommend! And definitely Celiac friendly.
My gluten free order was double checked before being served, Bravo to the wait staff!
My gluten free order was double checked before serving me. Bravo to all the wait staff that served me!
The service was very slow and although we spoke to the manager about our needs, my daughter ended up getting sick. Later they told me that the chef who made the salad dressing wasn't in that day so they couldn't be sure it was gluten free. They do not understand and are careless.
Had GF pasta dish first time. No reaction. Second time (Valentines Day) GF pasta must have been wheat as I had a super bad dermatitis herpeatformis (DH) rash reaction. I'll never order GF pasta, anywhere, because of the risk of unknowingly ingesting a huge amount of wheat.
Bravo has a menu that indicates which dishes can be made GF. There are only a few--salad and some of the pasta dishes but I ordered a dairy free version of the chicken and spring vegetables pasta that was not even indicated to be GF with GF pasta as a substitute and I had no reaction. It is grilled chicken, pesto (no cheese in pesto) and veggies. Delicious! I am not Celiac so one would need to investigate further about cross contamination etc., if you are.
They have a separate gf menu, but limited options. They mostly omit items. No gf desserts or breads. They do have gf pasta.
So happy I found this place on this app. Today was my fiance's birthday and he wanted Italian. I'm always upset about going to Italian places because of the bread, etc. but this place was incredible. Our server was friendly and accommodating, they do not serve bread (which may sound selfish but I was stoked), and the flavors were fantastic! I had the BRAVO! Chopped Salad, the Pasta Pomodoro with Chicken, and we split a bottle of Reisling. For the first time in a long time my stomach is bigger than normal from being full instead of being glutened. They also offered him a choice of three complimentary desserts for his birthday. Even though it's 30 miles from our house we will definitely be back!
They were very friendly and had great food it's a go to for sure
If you need gluten free stay away from this place. I've eaten here twice and they have brought out gluten containing food/wrong order both times. The sad thing is i ordered off the gluten free menu AND verified with server once food wad brought out. Yet i still ended up with gluten containing food. how do you mess up a salad..Add breaded onion strips. only good thing here is the martinis. Hence the one star. Servers suck because they are liars and the food made me sick. I wont return.
Just left from the bravo next to the lehigh valley mall, food was quite good, however there was a linguini noodle cooked in with my gf pasta meal. After notifying the manager they were very apologetic and gave us our meal for free, but it seems they were draining all of their pasta in the same strainer. Be very careful if you go. Update** I have stopped back a few times since this occurred and haven't gotten sick and no incidents occurrd :? I think it's a safe go now :)
Although the menu states "not recommended for those with celiac", the manager came over and explained all of their procedure to minimize cross contamination. Obviously nothing can be guaranteed but they seem to take celiac seriously. We enjoyed the meal and service.
Ok options (3 salads, 3 pasta, 3 entrees) but halfway thru meal found regular pasta mixed in with GF and did end up getting sick.
Pretty good gluten free pasta. Very very rich. Not someplace I would eat often but the food was safe didn't get sick.
Very accommodating! We made reservations and was told we could ask the chef for special gf requests if given enough time (a few days). My daughter has celiac and she loves Alfredo sauce. The chef made a special batch of gf Alfredo sauce for her. It made her week! Great service & food! We will be back for sure!
The food was good. They have a limited gluten free menu. Management and kitchen staff were educated and I didn't get sick afterwards. However, the waiter was clueless. Thankfully I spoke with the manager before we sat down and she came back to check on me later.
The waitress place pasta sprinkles, their version of croutons on my salad, it wasn't until I asked to double check we found out they were not gf, I had had a couple of bites of course. Contacted the company and was promised gift cards and was told they would double check everything for me. I did not receive gift cards and have not have them a second chance.
Absolutely fantastic gf meal and the chef and waiter were able to work around my life threatening allergy to onions! They even have a scrumptious gf dessert-really enjoyed the creme brulee! Definately recommend Bravo to those who are limited by allergies.
Excellent choices including gluten free pasta dishes
This restaurant hosted our group for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Our group had life threatening allergies to shellfish, tuna, peanuts and tree nuts. We also have celiac and must avoid gluten. Other allergies were dairy and salmon. We were served wonderful food and no one got sick! They specially ordered gluten free beers for our party and allowed us to bring in hard cider and gluten free desserts. The current manager is Gabriel and the assistant manager is Dena. They took care of everything! I loved planning with Lauren, their banquet coordinator. She responded quickly to each and every email.
food was ok... not impressed with the chewyness of the gf pasta dishes.
Excellent gluten free dinner! the make the GF pasta in a clean pot with clean utensils and fresh water to avoid cross contamination. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the lemon caper sauce is fantastic. My friend who also dines GF had the chicken griglio with GF pasta. Our only complaint was the portion size. We were quite hungry later.
Had a small but decent gluten free menu with several appetizers, salads, pasta dishes, and entrees. I ate the grilled salmon which had a lemon caper butter sauce and sides of steamed veggies (snap peas, sweet potatoes, and broccoli), and pasta with tomato sauce - all gluten free! My sister ate the grilled chicken and the Caesar salad - both gluten free - which were also delicious. Great experience!
