Went for dinner. Asked the waitress about food allergies. She acted super confident but as we ordered I got worried. She didn’t know that croutons had gluten / wheat in them. I asked for the chef. The guy seemed totally lost. Agreed to make my son a steak and me a chicken breast. We talk about sides and as he walks off, he asks if I want him to make my chicken into a sandwich. I said no - gluten allergy. He looked confused. Just don’t do it. Not worth the risk.
