Food was delicious and portion sizes were pretty large. Menu is clearly marked and the server was knowledgeable about gluten/cross contamination. She marked my food order and also notified me that she noticed the tea that I ordered was processed in a facility with wheat. They went the extra mile to check all the drinks and coffees to see if anything would be safe. Ultimately, I ended up sticking with water, but really appreciated their effort to be sure I dined safely.

Great patio spot right outside the second floor of Hotel Palomar. Several items on menu clearly marked as GF and most breakfast meals were easily made GF by holding the toast. I wasn’t familiar with the brand of caramel syrup they use and I mentioned I would take my iced coffee plain because Caramel often has gluten. My server looked on the manufacturer’s website without me even asking and brought the shot of syrup on the side and explained the website showed it as gluten free. Traditional breakfast food….eggs & omelets, bacon, sausage, potatoes O’Brien, fresh fruit. Great coffee and some of the juices were squeezed in house. I’ll probably eat here every morning of my conference!
