While spending a few days in Rehoboth Beach, I had breakfast twice at Breakfast Guru. The French toast was amazing. The toast was light, airy and thick. When I inquired, I was told the cook makes it himself. I highly recommend having breakfast here.

Lots of GF options - they do gluten free crepes, pancakes, waffles and have bread for breakfast sandwiches. I did the strawberry crepes but they had fresh peaches so swapped those in instead!

We love this place. My husband and two children have celiacs so it is hard to find a place that is safe. It is a little expensive but most places with gluten free food are. We loved the pancakes, eggs benedict and waffles. The chef makes the bread himself and you can see if you can buy a loaf if he has extra. My son is very sensitive to any cross contamination and we have never had any issues. I highly recommend.

I had the Nutella pancakes and eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and a good texture. I originally wanted waffles but I was told that they don’t have a separate waffle maker and instead clean the waffle maker between uses. I would avoid the GF waffles if you have celiac or are more sensitive to gluten.

November 2022 - Slightly slow service due to Pandemic-Era staffing issues but TOTALLY WORTH A LITTLE WAIT. Y’all know it’s rare to have a full, safe, delicious, gluten free breakfast in an actual diner. This is that place. Gluten free everything (crepes (not buckwheat!), pancakes, waffles, French toast, as well as safely prepared eggs, breakfast meats, breakfast potatoes, etc etc etc!!)! Diner atmosphere with great music, warm and friendly staff who are happy to help accommodate any of your needs (vegan and GF? sure! DF and GF? making it happen! GF and sensitive to hot spices/black pepper? plain potatoes!) Special shout-out to Kim, our server, who was lovely and so supportive of our celiac needs. Wish we lived here. We’d be regulars.

Fantastic spot! First time & the waiter was informative & helpful. He explained the menu & answered my questions as well as gave feedback on ‘most popular GF options’. There are, quite frankly, more options here than I am used to seeing for breakfast. I don’t do eggs, so often I skip breakfast if I’m not home, because GF options are often egg-based (i.e. omelets). Here, I was pleasantly surprised with sweet & savory crepes, French toast, pancakes, etc. Today, I opted for the strawberry crepes & they were very very good! Definitely a repeat spot for us. It’s been several hours & I have had zero reaction from any potential cross contamination (after an unknown restaurant, I always stay hyper-aware).

Waiter was very knowledgeable and pointed out areas of the menu to avoid as well as ideas to try. I am also allergic to buckwheat and I was happy to learn they don’t use it in any of their GF foods! I got the vegetarian omelet with GF pancakes and they were the best I have ever had! I wish this restaurant was near me!

Amazing food. Had gf French toast. Gf offerings include crepes, pancakes,. eggs benedict. Very knowledgeable about gf. Waitress friendly and even told us the chef makes the gf bread and can be purchased by the loaf. I am a local so I am excited to have this great resource.

Went there for breakfast and had an order of pancakes and an order of waffles. They use the same mix for both and they were delicious! According the the waitress they use the same cooking surfaces for both gluten free and non-gluten free but clean it before preparing gluten free food. Waitress seemed aware of protocols and checked with the kitchen on things she didn’t know.
