They substituted a gluten free bun for my sandwich that actually tasted good. The carrot cake was amazing.

Delicious bbq sandwich with the best baked beans! Loved the carrot cake! The owner has celiac so they know how important it is to keep food separate.

The fries (regular and sweet potato) are not GF. They are fried with the breaded items. The comment to me was that if you’re not highly sensitive, as the owner is not, the fries are fine.

Because the fried items were not separated in the kitchen, I could not try the fish and chips. Several other menu items were off limits because they were prepared ahead of time and weren’t gluten free, such as the baked beans.

Be sure to ask what is specifically GF.

I had the Rueben sandwich on GF bread and it was very tasty! I had a side of cold slaw.

This place is dangerously good! I ate my fill of food, including sweet potato fries, pulled pork, baked beans, and carrot cake! They did a fabulous job in the kitchen; no issues with contamination. I am told the owner is celiac, so they are very sensitive to the needs of their customers with dietary restrictions. Only drawback: the Mac n cheese is NOT gluten free. But the food is amazing.

Separate GF menu with SO many delicious options . GF bread , buns , & pasta. The soups that use a rue are made with GF flour. The carrot cake is made in house and is the best I have ever had.. staff is very knowledgeable and the owner is GF .

I love this place! I travel to Winchester every few months and tried it for the first time last may. The food was so delicious I had to stop again when I came back in July (I had the jerk chicken which was incredible!!) The staff is courteous and are always willing to ask the chef about products possibly containing gluten. Typically their soups are all gluten free but make sure you ask. Occasionally they do use flour and once I specified gluten free, the server informed me about the soups as this week they were all made with flour but trust me, there are plenty of alternatives to just soup! Chicken, salad, fish, steak and hamburgers! Gluten free buns available, awesome!! If I recall correctly, the owner or manager is gluten free as well :)

Many gf options as well as gf bread. No dedicated fryer so fries are not celiac friendly. Baked potatoes are not available for lunch so that is not an option for those of us with celiac.

Both of the owners have Gluten sensitivity and the wait staff is very knowledgable about options. The menu also gives options for gluten free bread and pasta alternatives for $1 extra. It's so nice to have a place nearby that has dedicated gluten free options!
