Wow, what a welcome treat with two celiacs in the family. They could order almost everything off the menu and the fryer is 100% gluten free. Felt very comfortable after talking to the waitress and no sickness after. To be able to order chicken and waffles completely gluten free was great.

Amazing experience! Everything but the cinnamon buns and their biscuits are gf (or can be made gf). They even have some gf baked goods near the register. I had the chicken and waffles with breakfast potatoes and eggs. Sooo good! All safe. I did not have a reaction after. Great atmosphere. Very welcoming and knowledgable staff. There may be a bit of a wait depending on the time you go, but it is worth it. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Stopped there for lunch on a Monday. Easy to get to from the highway. Quick service. Food was excellent. Everything is GF except cinnamon buns and biscuits. I had the yard bird and husband had the Reuben on GF bread : (2) sandwiches with fries and pickles on the plate. Very tasty and plentiful! The owner/ cook is very nice and welcoming. They serve breakfast at lunch too.

I ordered "the Nicke" which was a Reuben with turkey instead of corned beef. It was served on what appeared to be homemade white gf bread, grilled. Just awesome. And like someone else said, very generous portions. It came with fries but I upgraded to sweet potato fries and, they too, were awesome - delicately crisp. We also bought a homemade cinnamon bun but haven't tried it yet. There was a plethora of GF baked items.

Soups, gravy, baked goods. You can get just about everything on the menu with a bit of alteration to the bread, bun or rolls. You will not feel deprived.

These guys have the best gluten free pastries I've found anywhere in the US! I've eaten at over 1100 restaurants the last two years, so ive tried a LOT, but somehow they managed to blow me away with how moist and delicious everything was! I wish I could eat here every day.. there's so much I didn't get to try!

Food was "gluten free" but the quality was sorely lacking. Had to send my eggs back before they got close to an over easy egg (the first one came out over hard and the 2nd that I settled for was over medium). sad freezer gluten free waffles, dry over cooked chicken and nothing was seasoned. Another person at my table got poached eggs and they were practically hard boiled. None of the food came out at the same time and we had to wait 15 minutes for a waitress to refill our coffees. Edit. I definitely got gluten

I have been in love with Brewer Union Cafe since I first find out about it in October of 2020.
The owner, Christian, is so helpful and knowledgeable. His wife is gluten free, so I feel it makes it that much more important to know about gluten risks.
All sauces and gravies are gluten-free! That was a happy accident, according to him. He got a silkier, better sauce using rice flour (I’m pretty sure that’s the one he said).
I almost cried happy tears the first time I bit into the Rueben! A gluten free, gourmet, elevated, out-of-this world Reuben. He even makes his own corned beef!
I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Everything I’ve tried has been so good.
