Review of Brick Street Cafe

No safe option breakfast for a severe CD allergy! They will not cook anything for you. The hostess is too busy to get the manager and the manager is too busy to get anything for you without you getting really frustrated. The kitchen is too busy to give you accurate and safe recommendations. The buffet fruit looks contaminated being next to gluten food. I wanted them to just get me a fruit cup from the back daily and everyday apparently I was causing problems for them to get me that tiny 1 cup of fruit from the container before it hit the buffet . So if you think that the cook would accommodate you just know it will not happen. They do not prioritize kids/people with allergies. In my experience on this first time experience they do not care here in NY. At the park I did not eat just brought my water. Everything had gluten. At dinner at Bricks I was able to order a gf vegan cheese cheese pizza (only safe option) daily that is the only thing I ate there no gf deserts. It was a very complicated experience and I hope they change there ways. I was shocked to experience this actually! How can still happen as CD is much more common now and people are somewhat aware.
