Brickley's Homemade Ice Cream

Brickleys is super conscious about cross contact, which is great! I’ve been getting ice cream from here for years and they have always been good about scooping from the back with a clean scoop. If you want a milkshake, they will clean the machine. They have a list of the ice cream flavors that contain allergens, so it’s super easy find out what is gluten free. Brickleys is probably my favorite ice cream place in RI. I cannot say enough good about this shop!

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

They have a list of ice cream that contain gluten and they were able to check on the hot fudge (it is GF). They asked if it was for an allergy and brought it out separately. It was delicious!

Of course the ice cream is the best (caramel chip is my favorite), and I’m pretty sure they get it from the back if you say allergy when ordering.

Very good! I let them know at the window I have a gluten intolerance, they checked their list to verify the flavor I wanted was GF, and then scooped it with a fresh scoop from the back of the store.

They have a list of gluten free ice creams, however on the second visit they did say “all flavors are gluten free”, not true. You can definitely ask them to refer to the list they have posted to be safe, instead of assuming - but they did scoop from the back upon request. No issues.

Great experience! Staff had a list of which flavors were gluten free that they could refer to before we ordered and they scooped it from the back to avoid cross contamination.
