Driving from texas to Mississippi and easy stop on the way. Great experience! Daughter has celiac and they had a menu that showed what was safe for someone with celiac. She really enjoyed the brisket. All meats were GF and several sides !

If you are anywhere near this place you need to go. Especially if you’re celiac. As the reviews mention, one of the owners/managers is celiac. She wasn’t there when I went but the rest of the staff was 100% on top of all things allergy related. They have a celiac menu (not just gf menu). This was the easiest food ordering experience I’ve had since being diagnosed. Oh, and the food is amazing! They house make their sausage. Some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Bonus points, they don’t cook with any peanuts or peanut oil for those with peanut allergy.

I completely agree that this place is amazing. Not only did they understand the dietary requirements for celiac, but I think this may have been the best brisket I’ve ever eaten. Their bbq sauce is also terrific.
We found it through this app while driving from New Orleans back to Dallas. It’s just a quick hop off of I-20.
We look forward to returning.

This place is amazing , general manager is Celiac, and passionate about the cause. She has set up the entire team to be aware of cross contamination, even bread knives are in separate area from meat cutting counter. Fries are great, but you have to be lucky and confirm that either the oil was just changed , or that no breaded items have been in there that same day. Watch out when they are busy, and/or with part-time staff, as we all know, this is when cross contamination can happen.

The bbq here is amazing. The manager, Shawna (who also has celiac), told me that all the meats, bbq, and cold sides are gluten free. The hot sides are not as they all have a chicken base in them that has a tiny amount of gluten. The coleslaw is great. It's a slightly sweet vinegar based slaw, not a mayonaise based one. The meats are always delicious. They do have outdoor seating and live music in the VERY LARGE bar area.
