Review of Bristol Bar & Grille

1321 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40204

Review

Very knowledgeable about allergens. I am allergic to wheat, egg, soy, and dairy, and my friend is allergic to citrus, and they were very conscientious throughout the whole meal. The GM, Jeff, was very kind and made sure we were always taken care of. Our waiter, Leondre, took very good care of us, and was incredibly patient with all of my food allergies and quirks. The chef, Arthur, made me an off-menu curry that was to die for. I'm not generally a fan of cooked tomatoes, but the grape tomatoes used were the most perfectly cooked tomatoes I've ever tasted. Ever.

They don't have a dedicated fryer, so fried foods are out, but they are careful about cross-contamination, and I felt perfectly fine after eating (and I am sensitive to cross-contamination). Overall, I was quite impressed with this restaurant, and I will definitely return the next time I'm in Louisville.
