Have had vegan burgers, fries and pickles. Love the food and all of them have been gluten free - confirmed by Nima gluten sensor and absence of any symptoms. Also had their brownie and ice cream and both of those tested gluten free too. Have eaten several times here and the food has tested gluten free each time. Love their service and food.

We always stop here when in ABQ. Their gluten free brownie ice cream is worth a 3.5 hour drive! Both my wife and daughter are celiac so we are very careful.

Dedicated fryer and kitchen area (according to the waitress). The brussel sprouts were amazing. All the food was really good, and there are a ton of fried options!

Brixens was awesome! It is a friendly, casual bar by the Abq Convention Center. They were so careful to make my meal Gluten Free, and it was truly the best GF meal I've ever had out! I ordered the GF pasta with grilled chicken, asparagus, spinach, bacon, and artichokes in a peppery, parmesan cream sauce. It was SO good. Because we had to wait a few minutes while they made a fresh batch of pasta (which was well worth the short wait), they gave us a complimentary GF brownie. Oh my, was it amazing. Hot, covered in melting ice cream with fudge sauce and walnuts...that tied for the best dessert I've eaten in a restaurant and the other one wasn't GF. You would not know that the pasta or brownie were GF. Our waitress, Courtney, was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, and I enjoyed talking with the hostess. We had to walk two blocks from a meter, but it was so worth the visit! Thanks, Brixens!

I am so impressed. Almost everything can be made gf here. The waiter was super knowledgeable and I got to have fried pickles.

Great GF selection but most things were very greasy, even my quesadilla. No regrets though.

Great food! The staff was wonderful and very aware of gluten issues. They use a different fryer and are knowledgeable about cross contamination. So nice to be able to eat a wonderful meal without being nervous about getting sick. We will be back again!

I have never been somewhere that is so careful. The owner came over and checked on every ingredient (my mom was with me and has very severe allergies outside of gluten). This is absolutely the best place to go in Albuquerque for gluten free meals! And the food is phenomenal!

Anyone with Celiac disease should use caution at Brixens. Their GF symbol all over the menu can be very misleading.

My friend ordered the chips and dips appetizer before I arrived and the waitress assured her that it was entirely gf. My friend told her that I have celiac disease and the waitress confidently reassured her that the appetizer was 100% gf. While eating the appetizer I asked my friend the name of the really delicious dip, which my friend said was beer-battered queso. Hmmm, doubtfully gf. We asked the waitress specifically about the queso and she confidently reinformed us that it's completely gf. I asked if it contains beer and she cheerfully told us that it does contain beer, a standard microbrew beer.

I was optimistic that I wouldn't get sick from this mistake, but today I am pretty ill.

Wait staff was well versed in gluten free and the practices they followed to keep the diner safe. I had the 66 burger with fries and it was excellent. They do have a dedicated fryer and their fries are yummy.

Amazing!!!! Their main menu very clearly shows gluten free options. They also have a dedicated fryer. I had the most buttery gluten free bun ever (they said it was Hilltop Hearth from US Foods). The chicken sliders were coated in a gluten free tempura batter and absolutely delicious! Many offerings I have not been able to enjoy since diagnosed celiac. I would definitely go back!!!

I’m in love with this place! We went around 3pm on a weekday so it was pretty slow and was seated right away. Everyone that worked there was amazing with us and even very accommodating with my two children. They have several gluten free options and our server made sure the kitchen new of my intolerance. The gluten free buns were absolutely amazing me and my boyfriend even joked about how there was no way they were gluten free lol we love this place and will definitely be coming back! I didn’t get sick at all from the food or any cross contamination 😊

Let me start with the only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was the service was super slow and the place wasn’t busy. Besides that the food was delicious I want to go back to try more items on the menu. Didn’t have any tummy issues after here

Best. Gluten free. Restaurant. Ever. This place is amazing and the staff know their stuff. THEY HAVE A SEPARATE GF FRYER. The menu is on a tablet and gives a description of every dish and how it's modified to make it gf (making it even more clear that they know all about hidden gluten and cross contamination). We've been there twice and both times were great. I got the tacos the first time and the second time the panini (the poppy seed roll.. Omg.) We also got the brussels sprouts app and the chips and salsa app. <3 <3

The staff was very friendly we ordered on iPads the live music was great and the food was beyond my expectations the have gluten free and vegan options at no up-charge!!!

The menu is super accommodating and the wait staff was very knowledgeable. I'm in town for a conference and have already eaten here twice!
