Broadway Diner

Oh my gosh do these people try for you! I ate at Broadway prior to my having to go GF. After cutting it completely out with a GI dr my body can no longer handle any minimal exposure. The portions here are large. I get 3 meals out of one dish (sm,F). When I call I do specify its an allergy since they are not total gf. My family eats here mothly+ and I have not had any exposure issues. What I have experienced is the AMAZING staff/chefs/owner efforts and care. They do have some gf options like a pasta, roll etc. In addition if there is a simple way to make a dish GF they're up for it. They genuinely want you to be able to eat what your hungry for. That concept is so rare having food allergies. They've made me shrimp sophia, chicken marsala, Italian dishes plus all the traditional gf options like thier burgers etc. With all the effort and the great meal you feel the love. This place is has an amazing team. I recommend it being a "go to" place for your family if someone is GF.

Spoke to owner Steve who assured me I could eat their safely and said when I ordered to talk to a manager. I called in an order. The person taking the order didn’t know much about GF but assured me she spoke to a manager and that my food would be GF. I went over it several times and even said if there was issues always substitute anything so it’s GF and to please not cross contaminate my food. I was assured this would be the case. I then got my food which had teriyaki sauce on it. I called to speak to a manager who said it was in fact NOT GF. I asked how this happened and she said our servers taking orders do not know anything about GF and what do you want me to do about it!! I was very frustrated. I asked them to remake it. Instead of remaking the two meals we ordered GF they only sent us back one. They do not seem to know how to keep us safe and didn’t even seem to care. So do not recommend for celiac!!!

Sitting at Broadway Diner in Fayetteville with my celiac daughter and she ordered the gf pesto pasta. It is supposed to come with tomatoes but she opted out. She doesn’t eat meat either so feeding her out is very difficult. They have a decent sized gf menu (my daughter raves that she has CHOICES!) and a massive regular menu. Everything we have tried has been amazing and the owners have really trained their staff. Highly, highly recommend. Plus the cheese cake is crustless and gluten free. And amazing.

What a find! We visited the restaurant as it was close to our hotel and we had seen on-line that they offered a number of GF dishes. However, we were not expecting such a wonderful meal - it was superb. The waiter told us that they are really cautious about the preparation of the GF items, and also had cake mixes and GF brownies that you can take home! We will definitely be coming back here again.
