My wife (highly sensitive Celiac) has eaten here twice. Once in 2018 and once in 2023. Each time, the menu had GF menu items marked, but she still had to notify the server and ask about specifics. For example, the mustard sauce is NOT gluten-free. Neither occasion felt super safe because the servers seemed a little clueless, but she has never gotten sick here. She really enjoyed all of the meats she could have, the potato salad, and the coleslaw. We didn’t ask about the pickles and chips that are provided as a free starter (these aren’t on the menu); we just assumed it was cooked in a shared fryer. Overall, the quality of the meat alone is worth the trip. It’s better than BBQ we’ve had in Texas and Tennessee! It’s very juicy, tender, and flavorful. I’m allergic to egg and dairy and was also able to eat here.
