Delicious homemade candy and great assortment. Knowledgable about cross contamination. They do use the same chocolate to dip things in, so there is potential cross contamination there, but I did not get sick.

Best candy store hands down! We have gotten many items here and never had a bad reaction. I usually get a caramel apple and we’ve also gotten truffles and taffy. All very good.

I always stop and get taffy and fudge here which are both gluten free and delicious. I’ve never had any issues and the staff is very helpful if you have questions.

Delicious - Both (very sensitive) Celiac kids had the salt water taffy safe and had no reaction. We didn't feel comfortable with the chocolates because they dip Twinkies, cookies, etc into the same shared chocolate. BUT, the Salt Water Taffy was all really good.

I asked if the chocolates were gluten free. I was told most are. They don't use any gluten ingredients in their chocolate or caramel. Stay away from the chocolates with cookies of course. I got chocolate covered caramels and melt away peppermint chocolates. They are very good.

Best salt water taffy freshly made in house! All flavors are gluten free and most chocolate goods are gluten free as well. I asked about cross contamination since they have dipped Oreos and was told they always dip the items containing gluten last before throughly cleaning equipment.

I checked with owner, and verified the taffy (“ GF since ‘63” he said) and other things I wanted to buy (salted caramels & fudge) were GF, safe for celiac. They are, and were delicious. This is the candy shop to visit in Cannon Beach! I (and my daughter) like that you can watch them make the taffy.

Staff was great and they let me talk to the head chef! Make all their own salt water taffy in house and say it is GF. I researched the corn starch they use and got a gluten free letter from them! Say they do dip Oreos in chocolate but don’t use flour in their kitchen. Taffy is kept separate from chocolate items in store and kitchen. They sell some non GF prepackaged candies also. BEST taffy on the coast and have enjoyed it for many years. Nice to know our Celiac daughter can continue eating it. Also have a small location in Seaside near outlet mall! Haven’t been there yet. Taffy all made in Cannon Beach.
