Buddy’s was catered at my brokerage the other day. I ate the smoked chicken(great flavor), pulled pork (chopped up a little too finely but still good flavor) with bbq sauce, potato salad and beans. Everything was pretty dang good and I had no reaction! Yay for buddy’s bbq!

Buddy's is pretty good, but it does NOT have dedicated fryers. The fries are not gluten free and they screwed up my order about 30% of the time that I used to go there (once or twice a week for 3 years). Their staff is unknowledgable about gluten sensitivities. I ordered 1/2 a chicken dinner with gluten free sides and told them I had coeliac disease. There were hush puppies in with the chicken. This happened twice in a row. This place is NOT coeliac friendly, but I would definitely recommend this place to people that do not have gluten issues though.
No
I was invited for lunch and unsure of my ability to eat here safely. I can't find anything online so I called their main office and spoke with Laura in catering. She assured me that everything in the restaurants are GF, minus the obvious: buns, hush puppies, cookies, pie...We discussed sauces and seasoning and again she understood and confirmed all was GF.I ordered the pork dinner with potato salad and baked beans. I asked for no bun or hush puppies. It's set up like a fast food place so the cashier puts in the order via a microphone. My food was ready in no time and I received what I requested. I enjoyed Everything besides the beans. I felt they were mushy and bland but I ate them anyway. 😊 I had no reaction whatsoever. A couple of days later, I took the kids, as they are GF as well. Wanted to try something new. My daughter and I both ordered the Hawgback fries with pork. A little spicy but still tasty. My son ordered the pork plate, baked beans and fries. Meals were good and no reaction!! Family if 3 eats for $24 with drinks. Yay!!
