Buddy's Pizza

Hostess/waitress was 0% interested in being helpful with food allergy questions. Had to beg her to go look at a label to see if the GF crust had dairy in it. Then waited almost an hour for our food to come out. Pizza was just OK - not worth the “GF tax” price or the wait.

As soon as I asked about a gluten free Crust. The gal at the counter explained about cauliflower Crust cooked on the bottom of the pizza oven where they cook flour pizzas and the other kind where they make sure it never touches flour . I had the Cauliflower crust , Pesto Pizza and it had lots of flavor.just the right amount of cheese.The Pizza arrived quickly. The gal behind the counter was happy.. very helpful..and efficient. The place was clean with 2 rooms of tables and chairs. Take a look at the 2 great Murals across the street.

Great pizza parlor pizza. Two types of crust - cauliflower, which they cook on the oven stones for those who aren’t celiac, and one that comes pre-made in a pan, so that it doesn’t touch any surfaces for the rest of us. Super friendly and accommodating.

Buddy’s has been a favorite of ours for years. When I ruled gluten and dairy out of my diet, I thought I’d lost pizza. But Buddy’s came through with gf pizza crust and vegan cheese! Buddy’s is a very small local place. There are usually only two or three employees running the place. But that just meant more personalized service. The lady who took our order personally communicated our needs to the cook. When the pizza came out of the oven, she took it out of the oven and put it away from the rest of our order. Then she got a clean pizza cutter, and sliced our pie. Our order was always carefully tracked by one of the staff to avoid cross-contamination. And the pizza was delicious! Amazing customer service and amazing pizza!
