Awesome place to stop for a burger just off of 95. It’s a little bit confusing when you first pull in because it’s around back. Plenty of outdoor seating in a little bit of seating inside as well. Berger was fantastic. You can get it on a gluten-free bun, but I actually recommend that you get the burger without the bun because the bun is so much bread for the way the meat is situated. Coleslaw was fantastic. Had a unique flavor because of the mustard vinaigrette dressing. The salad was also really good! As mentioned in other comments. It’s a shared fryer so the fries are not gluten-free. Great atmosphere and you can also order wine or a gluten-free seltzer.

Excellent smash burger on a gf bun. Was informed that they have a shared fryer so steak chips were not safe.

This restaurant is awesome. My wife and son are celiac. The owner is celiac and ensured no cross contamination. If you are ever in Florence, SC, you gotta stop by. The Smash burgers are on point and the potato chips are hand cut. The fryer is shared with battered foods so you can’t eat the potato chips but they explained that also. Very pleased with this place and the line was out the door.

Traveling through and saw Buddy’s in this app. Best burger I’ve had in a very long time!
I saw the other review so I didn’t try the fries and got a salad instead.

Exceptional Service and Food. Gluten free bun was fresh and fabulous. I had a double chili cheese burger with fries and enjoyed every bit. The staff were very helpful and kind. I will return again and again. Wish we had a Buddy’s in Atlanta, GA

I had the best experience at Buddy’s today! I work nearby, have celiac disease, and I found out that one of the owners of Buddy’s has celiac disease, and has educated their staff extensively about safety with food allergies.
I went and tried their November burger today, the Jammie, and it was made with a gluten free bun. Most items there can be modified to be gluten free!
The only thing is that they let me know their fries are not in a dedicated fryer, so watch out for that!
Truly the best burger I’ve had in forever at a restaurant, and I haven’t gotten even remotely sick. They use unique flavor combinations that I can’t find anywhere else in Florence, SC. They’re local, educated, and I’m very impressed.
After eating, I have had no celiac symptoms at all!
Overall, I highly recommend Buddy’s if you’re looking for fantastic customer service, as well as an amazing food experience. The staff is incredible, and I dare say that their food is even better !
