I always get glutenated when I eat here. I have eaten at some other bww and been ok but not this one. I'm never going back
My son has celiac and was very excited to learn that Buffalo Wild Wings advertised that they had guluten-free menu items and so we went there. Upon asking the waitress what our gluten free options were, she said, "Well chicken doesn't have gluten in it, right? And neither do potatoes, right?" Upon further investigation we discovered that they didn't know if the sauces were GF or not and that everything is cooked in the same oil including onion rings, etc. We were really bummed as we love their food and would love to be able to eat there. I hope they make changes in the future to make them more celiac friendly.
I assure you, you will be sick. Ive tried numerous locations in different states. Sick everytime. I'm gluten intolerant. They use the same fryer for all their fried food, and lots of cross contamination. If you look at the menu & see how many items are fried, then you will understand why your bone-in wings that are "NOT' breaded "WILL" make you sick. Everytime I have high hopes- everytime sick. Might as well eat bread.
I loved BBWW before I went gluten free. Of course my choices are now limited, I still enjoy eating here. I usually order their naked chicken tenders, without the seasoning, and their fries. They have multiple, great sauces you can still use. To date I have never had a problem. The waitresses are always super attentive to marking down no seasoning. I usually go during lunch or during a less busy period just to cut down on any chances of catastrophe to my gut.
Was brought a salad with croutons and sometimes get a stomach ache after eating here likely cross contamination but they will bring you am allergen menu and try to work with you
there is no GF menu there. just a hard-to-read chart. with an X or no X. says no separate fryers. a star goes for GF bottled beer. :)
I was really disappointed, the waitress was not informative and do not seem to care. That being said, be careful with the menu. Items listed gluten free are still fried and seasoned in the same fryer and containers as the regular menu items. The honey BBQ salad was good and so far no problems
Good food, great place
Buffalo Wild Wings has gluten free options on there menu. Their traditional wings are gluten free and fried in a different fryer from the boneless wings. Their fries and most of the sauces are also gluten free. You have to ask or the allergen list and make sure tin inform your server that you have a gluten intolerance or celiac. The servers and mangers are understanding.
went to bww ordered blackened chicken salad no croutons.. got very sick. Their site lists EVERY salad even those listed with no croutons to contain gluten/wheat. Sad that even a salad is full of gluten.. I had a reaction one hour after eating here. No more BWW for me.
Very friendly and helpful once I informed them of my celiac disease. They had an allergin list readily available which included gluten free items. They do not have a gluten free menu but most of their sauces are gluten free and taste great on the naked tenders and traditional wings. I recommend this place for anyone who loves hot wings with celiac disease.
Originally I had problems with this Buffalo Wild Wings with no one knew the allergen list or what has gluten in it. HOWEVER, since then I have talked to their general manager Scott who is training the staff in a better way towards gluten allergens and how to prevent people with gluten allergies and Celiac Disease from having a reaction to the gluten in their food. When you come in to Buffalo Wild Wings I would suggest telling your server immediately about your gluten allergy or having celiac and if you have any questions at all TALK TO A MANAGER. They will help you a ton. Seriously! They will help you. (:
They have naked chicken tenders and fries that are gluten/dairy/wheat free. Their allergen menu is very specific and it makes eating here so easy! And their fries have soy, but are free of everything else. Love BWW! http://www.buffalowildwings.com/Global/bww_allergen_list.pdf
I had their blackened grilled chicken salad. It was good. Also had an Angry Orchard Crisp on draft, also good. They also offered Woodchuck Amber and Strongbow. Not overly impressed with their staffs knowledge but for a bar I didn't expect them to be. I had a good experience and I would go back.
I ordered the ultimate nachos with chicken. They were wonderful! I did not have a reaction so I think it is safe to say they are gluten and wheat free. The waitress was helpful she gave me the allergy free menu to look at when I asked for it.
The staff was very knowledgable about gluten allergies. The manager came over and brought me their nutritional book which help as well. I was also informed the kitchen has dedicated one fryer basket and oil for gluten allergies so there is no cross contamination. Was very happy.
I LOVE to eat here!!! I first discovered their gluten free menu when I went to mall of America I was sooo happy with all their options. When I came to this location they had the same options! my favorite food to get there is definitely the original honey barbecue wings. I go to this location every other week because it is my favorite place to eat! :)
Friendly and helpful.
Regular wings and most of their sauces are GF. Only the Asian Zing and Teriyaki are not GF. Pulled pork is also GF. I am also dairy free, so of course there were other limitations, but it was nice to have their classic wings with no worry! Also have Angry Orchard on tap and bartender offered that right up when I asked about GF options.
Gluten Free menu, staff very helpful. Great Food
When I asked if they had a gluten free menu the waitress was rude to me. There is hardly anything there that is GF. I won't ever go there again.
They have an "allergy list" that shows which products have gluten but doesn't take cross contamination into account at all. Not that I expect it from a place like this (that features wings which look delicious) but it's worth noting. Server and manager were accommodating though and offered to cook my chicken over tin foil to avoid contamination. Also worth noting that my non-GF family ordered burgers which were ridiculously thin. Better at BK than this place.
The Traditional Style Wings are almost all gluten free but fried in a fryer with gluten containing breaded items so if you're Celiac or very sensitive, you may not want to indulge.
Buffalo Wild Wings has an allergen list on their website with gluten free info. Made ordering very easy.
About the only thing that Buffalo Wild Wings can somewhat guarantee is gluten free is the wings as long as they have the appropriate sauce. They have dedicated fryers for the their wings. The "allergen list" is VERY outdated and the majority of what is listed on their menu as gluten free is not. Fortunately, one of the managers is well rounded about gluten free foods as her best friend has Celiac's. The only time I go in there is when I want wings and nothing else.
They changed the way the do things. They are telling anyone gluten free that they can't guarantee it won't get cross contaminated. They don't want gluten free customers. The want beer and wing people that are normal . I will never go back again
On their website they list what each of their menu options contains. If you have celiac you probably can't eat much but if you are just wheat or gluten sensitive you may be fine. I have a wheat sensitivity and I love their traditional wings with honey bbq sauce. Also their ranch that comes with the celery/carrots is wheat and gluten free. they also carry a couple tasty ciders!
The grilled naked strips are good and the grilled chicken salad is decent too.
I went to the bww in Chicago ridge ,.. The manger didnt even know what gluten was
Pretty good experience, especially for an airport. They had an allergy sheet that was just a bunch of loose sheets of paper.
